Guided Mine Tour
A guided tour, which takes you 40 metres underground into a restored 1850's Lead and Silver Mine, along with a guided tour of our Museum. After the tour, the guide will explain and demonstrate Gold Panning, which you will then be given the chance to find your very own treasure. Visitors are also welcome to use our grounds for picnics.
Please note you could be joining other people on your tour.
40 min guided tour of the underground mine and mine museum. After your tour you can try out the ancient method of "panning" for gold and are welcome to keep any jewels found. We also have picnic tables and nice walks on the property.
Footware suitable for descending mine steps.
