Guided Mine Tour
We are open for the season five days a week excluding Sundays and Mondays
Underground Guided Tour of an abandoned 1850's lead and silver mine along with a guided tour of our museum, gold panning and the use of our grounds for picnics.
Glengowla is part of the Irish National Seismic Network and a working seismograph can be seen working at the mine.

Please note you could be joining other people on your tour.
40 min guided tour of the underground mine and mine museum. After your tour you can try out the ancient method of "panning" for gold and are welcome to keep any jewels found. We also have picnic tables and nice walks on the property.
Footware suitable for descending mine steps.
